The Painted Gorge at Multnomah

The Painted Gorge at Multnomah was inspired by my visit to Multnomah Falls in Oregon, one of the most beautiful natural places I have experienced. I was captivated by the way the waterfall plunges through the gorge, framed by rugged cliffs, lush greenery, and vibrant seasonal color. As I painted this piece, I wanted to capture not only the grandeur of the landscape but also the sense of wonder and tranquility I felt standing there. Using rich textures and expressive color, I emphasized the contrast between the power of the cascading water and the peaceful beauty of the surrounding forest. This painting is my celebration of a place where nature's strength and serenity exist in perfect harmony.
