Commission Artwork
The best way to get a painting of your dreams is for you to commission it!
Here are some reasons why you might want to commission artwork :
Another of my collectors wanted a painting of a beach where her boyfriend proposed. She provided me with a few photos of the beach which I then used to recapture this memorable moment in their lives.
“Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I are with this beautiful painting. Vidyut completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much, Vidyut for your beautiful (and not to mention incredibly fast!!) work of art.”- Dana, CA- Feb 20, 2021.
Here are some reasons why you might want to commission artwork :
- You want a colorful, bright, textured, impressionistic painting that is inspired by photo(s) of your travels or memorable moments to cherish.
- You want original art that you saw on this website but it’s sold out.
- You require a bigger or smaller painting than the original so it can be displayed proportionately to your space.
- The original art’s color combinations do not go with your colors or decor in your space.
- You liked unique elements from a few different art pieces and you wish to combine those elements into one bespoke painting.
- You don’t need to be a sophisticated art collector to commission a painting. The process can be done in 4 easy steps!
- Size and Placement
- Decide where you will display your new artwork (i.e. living room, bedroom, etc)
- Figure out what size and orientation (portrait or landscape) works for the room
- Think about the color scheme of your room so you can decide on the colors for the artwork. (Hint: A few photos of the room and furniture are always helpful).
- Decide on your budget or how much money you wish to invest (Hint: The primary factor that determines the cost is the size of the artwork). My prices are reasonable, and I will do my best to work within your budget. I want you to be happy with your choices.
- Choose a painting
- Browse my website to find elements that you love and want to include in your new commissioned piece.
- Share and discuss your ideas with me. I can combine all the elements you like into one painting! I am happy to give you my advice and suggestions on ways to personalize the painting to your taste.
- Purchase
- Once all the details and completion date have been decided, you will receive a link to purchase the art via a secure online shopping cart.
- Your financial data is always safe using state-of-the-art encryption, protected by Shopify.
- Approval
- I will email a photo of your completed artwork 3-4 weeks later for your approval.
- If necessary, this is the time to make minor changes or modifications. I want your commissioned piece to meet your requirements and look the way you envisioned it.
- I will create your painting on a heavy-duty gallery-wrapped stretched canvas. The image continues on the edges (sides) of the painting for a contemporary look and does not require a frame, though you can add your own frame if you wish.
- After your final approval, the painting will be shipped to you, packed carefully in a sturdy cardboard box to make sure your new artwork arrives ready to hang and enjoy!
Custom artwork One of my collectors saw a painting he liked on my website but was disappointed that it was sold out. We discussed the elements and colors he liked and I recreated a custom piece for him.
“I commissioned Vidyut to make a large 48 by 60-inch pallet knife painting. Anyone who comes to my place first admires this enchanting work of art, with colorful textures and custom design. I admire & love her custom-made artwork and highly recommend it to anyone! “ - VJ, CA- May 26, 2021.
